Keep looping forward

Welcome to Day 7 — the final day of A Week of Living Brilliantly.

It’s been an absolute joy to share this week with you. Your engagement and replies have been rocket fuel for me and my team. I’m so glad we did this!

And I’ve got the perfect lesson to close the week. From the brilliant, Ryan Hawk.

The Lesson:

Ryan is a keynote speaker, author, and host of The Learning Leader Show. He’s had more than 650 conversations with leaders, thinkers, and doers — and one thing he noticed?

The best leaders don’t wing it. They build frameworks. Personal operating systems that keep them steady when the world gets messy.

Ryan built his own framework for becoming what Charlie Munger calls a learning machine.

It’s a simple four-part loop:

  1. Consume. Fuel your intake engine. Read. Listen. Watch. Learn.
  2. Experiment. Try the new idea. See what happens.
  3. Reflect. Notice what worked, what flopped, what’s worth repeating.
  4. Teach. Share what you’ve learned. Teaching forces clarity, and feedback deepens the learning even more.

Consume → Experiment → Reflect → Teach.

Then? Loop again.

The more you run this cycle, the more you stay alive, curious, and generous with what you know.

The invitation

Pick one idea you’ve loved from this week. Run it through Ryan’s loop:

  1. Consume: Revisit the lesson.
  2. Experiment: Try it in action today.
  3. Reflect: Tonight, notice what happened.
  4. Teach: Share it with someone else.

Knowledge isn’t enough. The magic is in the cycle.

Your turn

  • What’s one idea from this week you’d love to run through Ryan’s learning loop?
  • Who’s someone you could share it with — and what might happen if you did?

Thank you for being part of A Week of Living Brilliantly. This is the end of the week … but it doesn’t have to be the end of the brilliance.

I built this series as a bit of an experiment: seven days, five minutes a day. Could it shift your focus? Lighten your load? Spark a ripple or two of positivity in your world?

So what do you reckon?

Did your week feel a little more brilliant? Clearer? Kinder? A touch more possible?

If this lesson stirred something inside you, imagine what 52 in one year could do.

That’s what The Year of Living Brilliantly offers: a short lesson every week to gently nudge you to think more clearly, connect to new possibilities, and shift to the positive.

Until Wednesday, October 8 at 11:59pm ET, you can join The Year of Living Brilliantly for 20% off with code WOLB.
